CKAC Granted 501(c)(3) Status, Online Donation Form Now Available!

CKAC has been granted 501(c)(3) status by the IRS and is now officially operating as a non-profit, tax exempt, charitable organization! This is tremendous news, as not only does it reduce our operating costs via tax exemption, but it also qualifies any gifts generously given to our organization as a tax deductable charitable donation. The big winners…all of the animals in our care!

Kitty of the Week

Our Kitty of the Week is Sable. Sable is a young female cat who is very exotic looking - like a bobcat! She is very sweet, loves attention and treats! Please contact us if you are interested in adopting Sable.

CKAC - Lending a Paw to a Local Feral Cat Colony

Following the values upon which our organization was founded - providing care for and ensuring the welfare of homeless animals, finding loving homes for cats, kittens and special needs animals and helping to reduce over population issues through the promotion of spaying and neutering - CKAC has recently come to the aid of a local feral cat colony. Please take a moment to read about our efforts to Lend a Paw to a Local Feral Cat Colony and let us know if you are interested in helping!

Please Consider Adopting an Adult or Senior Cat

We realize that many people who are ready to adopt a new pet are searching for a kitten. However, there are many loveable adult and senior cats who are also in need of a forever home. Typically adult and senior cats end up in shelters through no fault of their own and being removed from everything they have ever known they are often confused and frightened by their new shelter surroundings.

CKAC has our share of adoptable adult and senior cats who would love to become your new best friend! In order to help our senior cats find their forever homes CKAC will be adopting them without a fee from this point forward. If you have any questions or are interested in adoption one of our adult or senior residents please Contact Us.

All potential adopters will be asked to complete an adoption application as CKAC must ensure that each of our animals will be brought into a safe, loving home.
